The squad answered the press on Media Day
Oblak, Koke, Griezmann, Augusto, and Godín were in charge of answering more than 270 accredited journalists on Media Day at the Wanda Atlético de Madrid Training Complex.
Oblak was the first one in the press room. The Slovenian assured: "I want to win the Champions League for all the fans, the club, and the team. We all want the same, but we are aware that it will be very difficult."
In addition, Griezmann noted: "Just because we beat Bayern Munich and Barcelona doesn’t mean we will beat Real Madrid. You have to be at 100% and give your all to be able to win."
For his part, Koke said: "Playing a Champions League final is always special. You have to play with everything you have to win it. If you win, you have that feeling that you've soaked up since childhood in the lower categories, so it would be much more special."
"Coming to Atlético de Madrid was a nice challenge. Since I signed, I bet everything on sports. Today, I'm ready to play a Champions League final and that makes me very happy," Augusto said.
To finish, Godín said: "The football player always competes to win. The beauty of finals is winning them. We think about the moment we are living today."
