Juanfran: "We are strong physically and mentally"
Juanfran Torres said to the press that the team is focused on the match against Betis on Sunday and that will be "difficult" because of the need to win for both teams.
Betis will make things difficult, as they will compete to remain in the competition. "All weeks are vital from here to the end of the season. It will be a great and difficult match as they are playing to remain in the competition and we to continue doing our best. We expect the best Atletico because it's a very important match", he admitted. The draw for the quarter -finals of the Champions League will be next Friday, but he didn´t want to give importance to it because right now he is just concentrate on the league. "Regarding the draw, I care little right now as for what 's important to me now is to win Betis . Any rival in the Champions League will be hard to beat. We work hard and we know we'll be fine for our fans, and we will try to pass to a semi-finals", he said.
The victory against Espanyol was very important for the team. "Espanyol put things difficult because they designed a good strategy for the match. The heart and the desire of our team were key to victory". Having no midweek match "has been great for us to prepare for Sunday's match. Betis has a match during the week and we expect to take advantage to win", he confirmed.
The team is in a great moment and we aim to do a season finale even better than it has done to date. "Now people see us very strong but when we finished the match against Osasuna many said we were finished.
