Juanfran is presented by Mr. Enrique Cerezo as new Atlético player

He arrives as the second signing during the winter market. Juanfran was presented by the President of the organization, Mr. Enrique Cerezo, as a new ‘rojiblanco’ player. The act took place in the Estadio Vicente Calderón VIP Room, where numerous media outlets had assembled to cover the event.
Mr. Enrique Cerezo highlighted during the presentation that “we’re here today to present the second reinforcement of the winter signing period: Juanfran, a player who, thanks to his class, personality and background, we’re convinced will adapt to our Club quickly and give our supporters plenty to cheer about.
Juanfran is a footballer from the old school. Fast, with electric dribbling skills that cut through the defence when he attacks the opposing goal. He forges his skills at Osasuna in the last few years and his quality took a big jump there, where he has shown himself to be an excellent winger that doesn’t only stand out on offense, but also on defence. We’re before a person who is an authentic enthusiast of his profession. He lives 24-hours a day for football,” he assured.
The President wanted to point out that he was “formed in the junior categories of a historic football club in Alicante, Kelme, then passed through Real Madrid before landing at Espanyol, where he won the Copa del Rey during the 2005/2006 season. He then signed with Osasuna, where he has been the past five seasons, being decisive in helping the squad stay up in First Division during the 2008/09 campaign, when he scored a goal against Real Madrid in the final match of the season to mathematically save his team from relegation.”
Mr. Enrique Cerezo emphasized the youth, but at the same time experience of the new footballer. “Juanfran is a footballer who furthermore, because of his profile, fits perfectly into the idiosyncrasy of the player that Atlético de Madrid searches for.
