CARRASCO AND GRIEZMANN SCORED

Good image against a direct rival

Our team tipped the scale in our favour after the break, in a match in which they gave a great image.

Second match and our team’s second victory in the Wanda Metropolitano, where this Saturday we beat by 2-0 a demanding rival such as Sevilla FC.

After a first half in which only the crosspiece prevented Filipe Luis from opening the score, Yannick Carrasco put us ahead just as the second half began, after finishing from the centre of the box.

Nevertheless, Simeone’s players did not resign to the 1-0 and widened the gap in 69' thanks to Antoine Griezmann. The French forward, who already scored in the inauguration of the Wanda Metropolitano, scored with a left-footer nutmeg that beat Sergio Rico, after a pass from Filipe Luis.

Thus, Atlético de Madrid is still unbeaten this season, with the just-arrived Diego Costa attending the match from the stands.
