For the Uruguayan defence, the key to the game lies in themselves, in playing as they know how to. "The key is surely in our hands, we have to do what we’ve been doing all year long. Playing with that intensity, that order, being mentally prepared towards an objective, which is winning. We aren't worried about anything else. We’re thrilled and want to win this final," he said.

For his part, Raúl García does not believe that the team’s inexperience in this kind of matches will decide the final. "The fact of having that experience or not having it is somewhat circumstantial, it won’t mark the fixture. I hope I can say that in the end, there was no difference", he said.

Continuing with the Champions final, Mario Suárez mentioned, "I wish we can win on Saturday. The team is eager to continue competing. We face a final against our eternal rival and we’re looking forward to it".

We’re thrilled and want to do well

Finally, Filipe Luis claimed, "We follow the philosophy of the game-by-game and the Champions final was never mentioned until today. We’re living in the moment, the past is left behind and we’re only thinking on how to resolve Saturday’s fixture in the best possible way" the Brazilian said. Regarding Real Madrid, he said, "They have a very large team and can change the system in each game. Their players can play in several positions," he concluded.
