Giménez: "We have a great team"

José María Giménez answered the media at Majadahonda’s Sports City. The Uruguayan began the press conference talking about this season’s new signings: "We have a great team, important players have left but very good ones have come. Everyone will try to contribute as much as they can to keep making the club great."

Regarding the new role that the player will have after the departure of Miranda, the defender promised to continue training and competing in the same way: "It’s been two years since I came here. I barely played during the first one, in the second I had more continuity and now, with the departure of Miranda, I may have more chances to play. Anyway, I will continue training as before, giving my all, and with the same commitment with the club and the institution. I face it with enthusiasm and eager to continue working."

In relation to the objectives of the team for this season, the player preferred to be cautious and wait for the League to begin: "We want to compete well. At the moment, we are looking to start strong in the League, we will know the real objectives with the match by match."
