Gameiro scored our team’s goal 100 in the Champions League at home. The first one was scored in 1958. It was scored by one of the legendary players of that time: Joaquín Peiró.
Peiró opened the score against Drucomdra in a match that would end in a landslide. It would take another 50 years until the fiftieth goal was scored. Maxi Rodríguez scored it in 2008 in the win against Schalke (4-0) certifying the pass to the group stage of that Champions. In 2014, it was Koke who scored the 75th goal in the victory against Barcelona in the second leg of the quarterfinals of the competition.
