Our captain said that: "This team has never given up, it’s true that it’s difficult because they’re a very complicated rival, but this team is not lacking in its willingness to act and demonstrate to our people that we are ready and this team needs a big comeback and tomorrow is going to be the day," he said.

The red and white player reviewed some of the keys for the fixture against Real Madrid. "Tomorrow we have to have a good emotional balance; I think that Real Madrid has to be aware of what Atlético de Madrid has at stake and where we play, with our people, and from there, try to make a comeback tomorrow."

Our captain was proud of the Atlético de Madrid fans and for how they support the team in every match. "In the Santiago Bernabéu the other day, after losing by 3-0, the only thing that you could hear were the Atlético de Madrid fans singing our anthem a cappella. The other day after the match against Eibar, the people also wanted to show us their love and support."
