Filipe completes 150 games with the red and whites
Filipe Luis Kasmirski continues to write his name in the history books of Atletico. In the match against Elche, the Brazilian international reached a whopping 150 games defending our club. 150 meetings riddled with successes. Congratulations genius!
Not just another game for Filipe Luis. Master of the left side of
the Vicente Calderon clocked up 150 games in Elche in another Atletico victory. The full back becomes the third Brazilian to have played so many games, behind Luís Pereira ( 171 ) and Ramiro (169).
Since coming to our club in the summer of 2010, Filipe Luis has continued to grow as a player and became one of the cornerstones of this spectacular Atletico Madrid. In those three seasons, he has played 108 games in the league, 4 in the Champions League, 22 in Europa League, 13 in Copa del Rey, 2 in the Spanish Super Cup contested this season against Barcelona and one in the UEFA Super Cup win over Chelsea last season. During those gams, the Brazilian has twice been crowned European Supercup champion (2010 agaisnt Inter MIlan and 2012 against Chelsea), champion of the Europa League in 2012 against Athletic Bilbao and, finally Copa del Rey champion at the Santiago Bernabeu in the memorable final in which we beat Real Madrid, which led him to success last summer in the Federations Cup with Brazil.
