Before our Copa del Rey Round of 32 match against Elche kicked off, the club from the southeastern part of Spain paid tribute to Saúl Ñíguez.
A youth player from Elche accompanied by José Antonio Ñíguez, Saúl’s father, gave our number ‘8’ a commemorative plaque and an Elche jersey. Saúl was born in Elche and his father played several years for the club.
