Defeat in the final stretch against Levante
Fernando Torres put our team ahead n the 2nd minute, Casadesus tied on 30 minutes and, after Atlético’s attempts to score another goal, Rossi turned the the game in favour of the home team.

Fernando Torres was very clear that the match had to advance very soon and two minutes into it, he scored the 0-1 for the delight of the more than 1,500 red and white fans who travelled to the city of Valencia. But the home team did not surrender and within half an hour, after a couple of warnings from Torres, Levante tied. Before the half-time, a clear penalty from Juanfran to Giménez which the referee did not see could have changed the result of the game.
In the second half, Simeone decided to make two substitutions at the half-time, with Carrasco and Griezmann entering and shortly after that, Thomas, and despite constant tries with chances to score saved by Marino to shots from Griezmann, twice, and one from Torres, Levante managed to score the wining goal in the last minute in a counterattack when Atlético was all in trying to score the winning goal. Goodbye to the options to fight for the League title on the last round by a team qualified for the Champions League final.
