Atletico Madrid held a training session in the Sports City at Majadahonda ahead of the first leg of the knockout phase of the Copa del Rey against Sant Andreu, which takes place this Saturday at 16.00 the Narcis stadium in Barcelona. Atletico exercised for 50 minutes on Field 4. The downside of the session was Thibaut Courtois who pcked up a muscle injury in the right thigh and he had to some off before the end of training.

After the session, Diego Pablo Simeone offered a squad consisting of 16 players, with Courtois or Gabi who must serve a one-match ban. The Atleti will travel on Friday afternoon to Barcelona by train.
