Club legend Adelardo to feature on new membership card
Our club membership cards for the 2021/22 season will pay tribute to Adelardo Rodríguez, one of the great Atlético de Madrid legends. “What I feel towards Atleti is love," says our legend, recognizing the importance of the club in his life. In previous seasons we paid tribute to José Eulogio Gárate and Luis Aragonés in the same way.
Next season’s club membership cards will pay tribute to Adelardo, Atlético De Madrid’s record appearance holder. This way, all Red & White members, both season ticket holders and non-season ticket holders, will have our legendary midfielder engraved on their cards.
In previous seasons, we payed tribute in the same way to fellow beloved club legends José Eulogio Gárate – one of the most talented and well-loved strikers in Atleti history – and Luis Aragonés – who enjoyed a legendary career at our club as both player and coach.
Our history is very present at the Wanda Metropolitano, which features many tributes to the players who built it such as the Walk of Legends, the dressing room area, the players' access to the stadium, the main avenue named after Luis Aragonés, and also the Red & White membership card. Next season, Adelardo will be the legend that the Atleti club members proudly carry on their membership card.
