Clemente Villaverde, Board Member and Football General Manager, spoke for Bein Sports from Nyon after the draw. He said that, "It is a privilege for me to represent Atlético de Madrid and its fans in a semi-final of the Champions League against a club with the category of Bayern Munich. Atlético de Madrid has demonstrated it has enough solvency to face this series of matches throughout the competition and we hope to be able to keep that solvency now."
Our Sporting Director, José Luis Pérez Caminero, analysed the virtues of the German team: "We are facing one of the most successful clubs in Europe, used to being constantly present in the semi-finals continuously in recent years.
