Chelsea, Roma and Qarabag, our rivals in the group stage
Monaco’s Forum Grimaldi held this Thursday, the 24th of August, the draw of the group stage of the continental showpiece. Our team was drawn in group C.
We now know our rivals for the 2017-18 UEFA Champions League group stage. In the first round of the competition we will play against Chelsea, the Premier’s current champion, from Pot 1; AS Roma from Pot 3; and, finally, Qarabag from Pot 4.
This is how the groups were paired:
Group A:
Benfica, Manchester United, Basilea, CSKA.
Group B:
Bayern, PSG, Anderlecht y Celtic.
Group C:
Chelsea, Atlético de Madrid, AS Roma y Qarabag.
Group D:
Juventus, FC Barcelona, Olympiacos y Sporting.
Group E:
Spartak de Moscú, Sevilla, Liverpool y Maribor.
Group F:
Shakhtar Donetsk, Manchester City, Nápoles y Feyenoord.
Group G:
Mónaco, Oporto, Besiktas y Leipzig.
Group H:
Real Madrid, Borussia, Tottenham y APOEL.
