Carlos Ramos and Hector Hernandez debut with the first team
The players enjoyed their first official minute under the orders of Diego Pablo Simeone. The midfielder put in a good performance while the striker marked his debut with a goal.
Carlos Ramos joined the club in 2011 from the Zamora, and has since become a fixture in the midfield for Atletico Madrid C. His physical deployment and good judgment have seen him become a permanent fixture and one of the captains of the Atletico side coached by Oscar Mena.
The midfielder debuted weeks ago in the friendly in Cordoba, replacing an injured Leo Baptistão. This is the second time that the midfielder has been involved for Atleti having played in the first leg against Sant Andreu.
Hector, 18 joined early this season from Las Palmas and with Ruben Mesa offensive duo they have formed a great partnership for Atletico B contributing a significant amount of goals.
In the 77th minute, Simeone gave him the nod and two minutes later he marked the dream debut for any striker. His goal maintained Atletico’s unbeaten run at the Vicente Calderon Stadium.
