Atlético de Madrid join fight against breast cancer
Our club joins the fight against breast cancer in support of the brave women who are fighting the disease.
On Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Atlético de Madrid join the fight against the disease. Coinciding with the night before Breast Cancer Awareness Day, which in Spain is held on Oct. 19, the Wanda Metropolitano will shine pink in support of the brave women who are fighting the disease and to raise awareness on the importance of research and early diagnosis. This initiative will coincide with the match between our team and Valencia, which is to be played at our stadium on Saturday.
Both teams will walk onto the pitch wearing pink armbands, and the Wanda Metropolitano’s ‘ribbon board 360º’ will also shine pink.
The club’s official water supplier, Solán de Cabras, will also join the initiative by providing both teams with pink bottles.
