It was an evenly-contested game the one that was played on Goa’s field. Second round of the Indian Super League and second game played by our team away from their stadium. This time, against Goa. The team started strong and with an early goal, by Izumi. An advantage that could have increased but that remained as 0-1 at the half-time.

In the second half, there was a play that was decisive, Sahni saw the second yellow card and left us with 10 players during the last half hour of the match. The scoreboard was bound to a red and white win but Almeida hit the target for the locals on 81 minutes. Despite adding 8 additional minutes, the scoreboard did not change anymore.

Now, we have to think about the next game, at home, against Kerala Blasters, precisely the rival against which Atlético de Kolkata became champion of the Indian Super League in December of 2014. Our team arrives unbeaten to this match.
