Atlético de Kolkata continues racking up wins in their pre-season
A new victory in Atlético de Kolkata’s pre-season, this time against a feisty Unami CP from Segovia. The Indian Super League team continues their preparation before the start of the League.
Atlético de Kolkata comes up with a new victory, making it a total of three for their pre-season games. The red and white squad defeated Unami CP (3-0), a team who recently fell from the Third Division, but which has a combination of young and veteran players who made things difficult for the Indian team. Kolkata scored the opener with a nice lob by the Spaniard Luis García. Soon after, Lobo extended the lead with a direct free kick and Rafi finished the landslide with a great header from a corner kick.
Atlético de Kolkata will continue their pre-season in Los Ángeles de San Rafael until the 26th. The team plans to play a few more friendlies. The first one on Thursday, September 18th against Gimnástica Segoviana and another against Villalba next Tuesday, September 23rd. The entire Indian Super League continues their fine-tuning for the start of the League on Sunday, October 12th.
