Atlético and Villarreal agree to the loan of Óliver Torres

The midfieder from Extremadura will move to Villareal to get minutes to continue growing as a player and return to the club at the end of the season.

Atletico Madrid and Villarreal have reached an agreement for the loan of Oliver Torres to the team from Castellon until end of season. The midfielder from Extremadura only 19 is one of the great promises of the red and white and the player will look to pick up minutes to continue growing as a player. Óliver, this season has stepped up to the first team after alternating between first and second last season. He has moved to a club where he hopes to continue fulfilling his growth in the early part of his career. After this loan, he will return to the red and white club on the 30th of June.

Óliver is looking at this experience with great enthusiasm: "I will try to learn as much at this stage and continue growing as a player and person." And he wanted "to thank the Atletico fans for all their support and their signs of affection."

José Luis Pérez Caminero believes that "this opportunity is very good for Óliver, it gives him the chance to play games regularly and grow in football. He is one of our most promising players and so we have sought an option so he can have minutes that adapt to the demands of the elite of football. It will be very important for the player and the club which has a lot of confidence in him."
