Aranzubia red card rescinded
Daniel Aranzubia may be available for the next league match against Valladolid after the Competition Committee agree "to leave without effect the expulsion of which he was subject to."
The Competition Committee, after meeting on Wednesday morning and rescinded the red card that Aranzubia picked up in Almeria because Teixeira Vitienes made a mistake in decision to award a penalty to Almeria striker Jonathan.
The resolution notes that the goalie "did not grab the opponent, as mentioned in the Arbitration Report", so "leave no disciplinary effects for the expulsion" of the Atletico goalkeeper.
Aranzubia will be under the command of Diego Pablo Simeone for the next league game against Valladolid on Saturday 15th at 16:00 am at the Vicente Calderon. An important game for the fight at the top of the table.
