18 heading to Russia
Simeone named three academy players in the squad traveling to St. Petersburg to play in the Champions appointment against Zenit (Tuesday, 18:00 Spanish time)
The Atletico Madrid first team travels to St. Petersburg on Sunday, where on Tuesday at 18:00 CET they will play against Zenit in for the fifth round of the Champions League match.
Before boarding the plane the red and white’s trained in Majadahonda with a recovery session for the starters of the Getafe game and physical work for other players.
Upon completion of this training, Simeone offered the 18-man squad list of 15 players for the first team along with Ndoye (Atlético B), Alex Diaz (Atletico C) and Lucas Hernandez (Juvenil).
