Madrid’s Cruz Street saw how our team was born. A group of Basque students founded, on April 26th of 1903 the Athletic Club de Madrid, taking the first step towards the creation of a great Atlético family throughout the world over the years.

A winning club. That is Atlético de Madrid. The Atlético fans around the world are used to celebrate titles, because for more than one century of history, the red and white shirt has lived magical moments that translate in 9 Leagues, 10 King’s Cups, 1 Intercontinental Cup, 2 UEFA Europa League‘s titles, 2 Spanish Supercups and 2 European Supercups, 1European Recup and 1 RFEF President’s Cup.

The commemoration of these 111 years comes at a moment of great sporting success after achieving four European titles and a King’s Cup in the last seasons. Furthermore, the team is having an excellent campaign and is keeping our hope alive for the League and the Champions.

A past full of success and a hopeful future as that represented by the youths who daily train at our Academy, becoming part of a celebrating family, such as the beginner players who sat with a cake on this special day. Congratulations, Atléticos!
