Gabriel Paulista (November 26, 1990, São Paulo, Brazil) is a new Atlético de Madrid player after signing until the end of the season. The Spanish-Brazilian defender passed the medical examination at the Vithas Madrid Arturo Soria University Hospital and after that, signed his contract with our entity.
The Spanish-Brazilian centre-back has a long career and experience. In addition to LaLiga, Gabriel has played in the Premier League, Champions League and Europa League.
He began his professional career in his native country, specifically at Vitoria, a club where he would reach the first team. In 2013, the defender came to Europe to sign for Villarreal, an entity where he spent a year and a half before joining Arsenal. In the Premier League, Paulista played two and a half seasons and later returned to Spain, to Valencia, where he played for six and a half seasons.
