Atlético de Madrid and AS Monaco have reached an agreement over the loan of Benjamin Lecomte (Paris, April 26, 1991). The Frenchman will play at our club until the end of the season.

The goalkeeper is a product of Niort’s academy and played for the France U18, U19 and U20 sides. He then made his professional debut with FC Lorient, where he stayed between the 2010/11 and 2016/17 seasons – playing 140 games and keeping 34 clean sheets. The Frenchman then played two years at Montpellier HSC, before joining AS Monaco in the 2019/2020 season. In Monaco, he played 60 games over two seasons and kept 20 clean sheets.

An experienced goalkeeper who stands out for his aerial strength, his one on one abilities and his height (187 centimetres) arrives at our club. We welcome a player who is very excited to join our club.
