We will play the Coupang Play Series 2023 in South Korea
Our team will face Manchester City and a K-League combine team on July in a event that will take place in South Korea in the 2023 edition.
Our club is already preparing the roadmap for the pre-season that the first team will follow next summer in preparation for the 23/24 season. With the definitive date for the start of the pre-season still to be released, two of the matches that will form part of the team's tour outside Spain have already been confirmed, after it was announced that we will play matches in Mexico and the USA against Real Sociedad and Sevilla respectively.
In the visit to South Korea, Atleti will participate in the 2023 edition of the 'Coupang Play Series', an event that this year will face the rojiblancos to Man City and the local team. The game against the K-League combine team will take place on Thursday, July 27 (8pm local time). Three days later, on Sunday, July 30 (8pm local time), we will play against the recent Champions League champion, Manchester City.
It will be our first visit to the Asian country since the club was founded in 1903. South Korean fans will enjoy a match that will bring together great world-class players such as Griezmann, Haaland, Oblak, De Bruyne or Memphis among others.
