The last derby against Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey took place in the round of 16 of the 2015 edition with a favorable result for Atlético de Madrid. On that occasion, the duels were still two-legged: in the first leg, at the Vicente Calderón, we achieved a 2-0 victory thanks to goals from Raúl García and Giménez; in the second leg the result was 2-2 thanks to a brace from Fernando Torres.
