"We need the strength of the Calderón"
The coach and players ask for the support of the fans against Villarreal and a bond with the team.
The red and white team through their three captains and coach, Diego Pablo Simeone wanted to send a message to the fans calling for their unconditional support in this important match against Villarreal. Simeone is convinced that, "the team, together with the fans, will play a great game. We all have to be together. The match is played on the pitch and we obviously need to send all the positive energy from the pitch to the outside. That's what we've always transmitted and hopefully it remains the same".
For their part, the captains have wanted to appeal to the fans to come to the Stadium to cheer relentlessly: "Tomorrow, the fans have to cheer their team as always, with the enthusiasm and the passion they have shown towards their colours in all the matches and respecting the rivals. We must all be tight-knit group. We need the strength of the Calderón," Raúl García pointed out.
In this sense, Gabi says that, "more than ever we need our fans, the one that has always stood by their team cheering with passion".
