We join Beşiktaş in a charity match in Turkey
We will travel next Wednesday 12 April to Istanbul to play a charity match against one of the historic clubs of Turkish football at the Vodafone Park at 8:30pm local time (7:30pm CET).
On Wednesday 12 April, we will travel to Istanbul to play together with Beşiktaş a charity match, unique at international level, with two clubs that in 2023 are also united by the celebration of their 120 years of history, and whose entire proceeds will go to the organisation Together for Türkiye.
Through this initiative we want to show our support and continue to give visibility to those affected by the earthquakes last February. A cause that cannot be forgotten and where the help of everyone is still needed today.
From the first moment after this terrible catastrophe, our club and the Atlético de Madrid Foundation have been by the side of the victims, joining the campaigns of the Save the Children emergency fund and the response of LaLiga under the slogan 'Every Minute Counts'. In addition, for this charity match our players will wear the Save the Children logo on the back of their shirts to give the greatest possible visibility to the cause.
The aim now is to keep society aware of the need for help and to repeat the wave of solidarity that swept through international football last February.
Join from anywhere in the world and collaborate with all those affected who continue to suffer the consequences of this tragedy.
