FIVE-YEAR AGREEMENT WITH IFEMA MADRID

We become Local Event Supporter of the Spanish Grand Prix for the next five years

The Riyadh Air Metropolitano will play a prominent role and serve as a supporting venue during the Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix weekend, which will take place from 11 to 13 September 2026, hosting the event’s main concert.

We have reached a five-year collaboration agreement with IFEMA MADRID through which we become Local Event Supporter of the FORMULA 1 TAG HEUER GRAN PREMIO DE ESPAÑA, to be held in Madrid from 11 to 13 September 2026.

Our stadium takes pole position in the event, playing a prominent role and serving as a supporting venue during the Grand Prix weekend, hosting the event’s main concert and hosting fan experiences, hospitality and the main concert.

During those days, the Riyadh Air Metropolitano will be transformed into a supporting venue for the Grand Prix, acting as a hub for entertainment, activations and experiences for fans. From here, exclusive events, reception areas and shuttle services to the urban circuit will be coordinated, allowing thousands of fans to experience the thrill of Formula 1 at full speed in one of the city’s most iconic settings.

As part of the agreement, we will have an exclusive hospitality area within the MADRING circuit, located in one of its most premium sections. This space will allow us to offer our members, partners and corporate clients a unique experience in an environment inspired by our Red & White identity, where sport, excitement and hospitality come together to enjoy Formula 1 from a different perspective.

Our home continues to establish itself as a key venue for major international events, taking centre stage on the global calendar and hosting a range of public activities, commercial activations and the event’s main concert, reaffirming its status as one of Madrid’s leading entertainment destinations.

MADRING, MUCH MORE THAN A CIRCUIT

The FORMULA 1 TAG HEUER GRAN PREMIO DE ESPAÑA will take place over the weekend of 11–13 September at the MADRING circuit. The new semi-urban layout stretches 5.4 km and includes 22 turns designed to deliver maximum excitement for fans. Among them is La Monumental, which is set to become the circuit’s most iconic area: a 550-metre corner with a 24% incline, offering a true challenge for the drivers.

It will be one of the best-connected tracks on the calendar. Located within the city and just five minutes from the airport, it features a metro stop at its main entrance, as well as a train station and multiple urban bus lines, making it an unbeatable location.

Thanks to this excellent connectivity, it is expected that at least 80% of attendees will arrive by public transport, reducing the fans’ carbon footprint. The event will also feature efficient resource management, with 100% renewable electricity powering the main areas of the track, and it will be an accessible Grand Prix for everyone.

But MADRING is much more than a circuit. Spanish and Madrid culture and gastronomy will take centre stage, with the city’s famous 'tardeo' spirit fully embraced throughout all fan areas.

In this context, the Riyadh Air Metropolitano reaffirms itself as a key venue for major international events – a space capable of attracting business, driving entertainment, and sparking unforgettable emotions.
