MATCH PREVIEW | ATLÉTICO DE MADRID - FC BARCELONA

Wanda Metropolitano readies to host spectacular clash

Atleti take on FC Barcelona at the Wanda Metropolitano in a new LaLiga fixture. The game is to be played at 9pm CET on Saturday.

The international break is over as LaLiga returns with a bang. Atleti host FC Barcelona at 9pm CET on Saturday in what promises to be a cracking match.

We’re currently 23 games unbeaten in the league – our best ever record. Our good start to the season sees us third in the standings, two points behind leaders Real Sociedad with two games in hand. Simeone’s men will look to keep the positive streak going against Barcelona.

Barcelona are currently eighth after their 5-2 win over Betis. Koeman’s side have played the same amount of games as us (seven), picking up 11 points.

Both teams met for the last time on June 30 at the Camp Nou. The match ended 2-2 as Saúl netted a brace.
