Vrsaljko suffers a partial tear of the posterior cruciate ligament

The Croatian right back has undergone an MRI that has confirmed the partial tear and a degree I-II sprain in the medial collateral ligament of his left knee.

Sime Vrsaljko has undergone this Monday morning an MRI in Majadahonda’s Fremap Clinic that has confirmed he suffers a partial tear and a degree I-II sprain in the medial collateral ligament of his left knee. The Croatian right back left the field after only one minute into last Sunday’s game against Sevilla FC and he underwent a series of tests that warned about the injury in the ligament and today’s MRI has confirmed a partial tear.

The international defender will follow a rehabilitation and physical therapy treatment plan to recover from the injury suffered in his left knee.
