Vrsaljko, renewed until 2022
The Balkan right-back extends his contract with our club until June 30, 2022.
Our club has reached an agreement with Sime Vrsaljko, for which the Croatian international player will continue to wear our shirt until June 30, 2022. expanding one more year the contract that both parties signed in July 2016.
"I am very happy to be able to continue growing here. I feel very comfortable and the only thing I'm thinking about is working every day to be important to the team," says the right-back in statements to the club website.
Born on January 10th 1992 in the city of Rijeka, the Balkan defender arrived one season and a half ago to Atletico de Madrid, coming from the Italian Sassuolo.
Throughout this period, Vrsaljko has played 39 official matches for Atleti and has established itself as an indisputable man in the defense of the Croatian national team.
