Vrsaljko reached his 100th match as a Red & White player
The Croatian defender reached a hundred official games defending the Red & White jersey in the match played by our team at the Martínez Valero.
Sime Vrsaljko played his 100th official match defending our jersey. The Croatian full-back, who joined our club in 2016 from Italian Sassuolo, reached the hundredth match during the duel that measured our team against Elche. Vrsaljko, who made his debut against Sporting Gijón on September 17, 2016, will soon have his corresponding plaque in the Wanda Metropolitano Legends Walk, which recognizes all players who have played at least 100 games in the red and white jersey.
Vrsaljko was part of the squad that won LaLiga last season, this being his second title as a rojiblanco after the 2018 Europa League.
