Vitolo: "I'm happy because we won our first match of the year"
Vitolo came on in the 59th minute for Yannick Carrasco.
After being presented as an Atlético de Madrid player on 31 December in the Wanda Metropolitano, Vitolo made his official debut for Atleti in the Copa del Rey Round of 16 match against U.E. Lleida.
"I'm happy because we won our first game of the year," he said. "That's very important for us."
Vitolo came on in the 59th minute for Yannick Carrasco and defended the red and white jersey for the first time in his career.
"The only thing I think about is Atlético de Madrid," he continued. "I'm happy."
The winger was very proactive and played on the left wing.
"We have a great squad, with great players. We're all going to be important," he finalized.
