Atlético de Madrid and VERSUS joined forces on Thursday at the Wanda Metropolitano. The Spanish company will be a club sponsor for the next three seasons and its logo will appear on our match and training shorts.
The presentation ceremony for the new commercial agreement took place at our stadium, with president Enrique Cerezo hosting the event. Cerezo welcomed the Spanish company, which was represented by its president Eliseo Orenes and by the gropu’s director Javier López Cerrón.
Íñigo Aznar, Director of Atlético de Madrid’s Commercial Department, said the club was happy about the agreement.
"We are very happy to welcome VERSUS to the Atlético de Madrid family. We are proud to join a Spanish brand that shares our vision and our desire to grow internationally, and we look forward to exploring those synergies together over the coming seasons," Aznar said.
Javier López Cerrón, director of the Orenes Group, a business group that is part of VERSUS, was also pleased about the agreement.
"This sponsorship agreement is a historic milestone for the group. Atlético de Madrid is the partner that best reflects the whole positioning of our VERSUS brand. This alliance is a great challenge for us to consolidate our retail and online operations in the Spanish market," Cerrón said.
