Vermeeren made his debut as a Red & White player
The Belgian midfielder played his first game with Atleti against Rayo Vallecano at the Cívitas Metropolitano on Wednesday.
Arthur Vermeeren played his first minutes in the Atlético de Madrid shirt. The Belgian player arrived at the club last Friday 26 January to reinforce the midfield from Antwerp.
At only 18 years old, Simeone decided to bring him on the pitch against Rayo Vallecano. In this way, the fans at the Cívitas Metropolitano were able to enjoy live Vermeeren's first steps with the Red & White club.
