Francisco Perales, the Atlético de Madrid Under 17s goalkeeper was involved in a collision in the Under 17s world cup of clubs tournament against Barcelona, In which he had to be withdrawn from the pitch with a serious facial injury. The player was taken to Valdemoro Hospital where he was joined by his parents and the academy director Calros Aguilera.   The latest medical report, produced on Monday night by Doctor José María Villalón, the head of medical services in Club Atlético de Madrid spoke of  “a serious facial injury: fractured eye socket, He’s been transferred to the Doce de Octubre hospital in Madrid for further evaluation by a facial fractures surgeon.”    The game finished in a 2-0 defeat for Atlético Madrileño against Barcelona, with Atlético having three goals by Trujillo, Su Sin and Oli disallowed. The ‘rojiblancos’ played well but two blows from Barca made the difference. Atlético Madrileño have failed to qualify after this result despite still having a game to play this Wednesday against Dutch side Ajax.
