Trippier: “I’ll give everything for the team and the coach”

The Englishman was unveiled as a Red & White player on Thursday.

Kieran Trippier was unveiled as a new Atlético de Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano Auditorium on Thursday. The Englishman was welcomed by our president Enrique Cerezo, sporting director Andrea Berta, legends Mondonça and Miguel Ángel Ruiz and the player’s family.

Cerezo welcomed the full-back to the Atleti Family.

“Trippier is a footballer with fantastic qualities, and he arrives at our club to further strengthen the defence and the right flank,” our president said.

The Englishman was delighted to have joined our club.

“It’s such a massive club. I’m very excited. I’ll give everything for the team and the coach. When Atlético de Madrid was interested, I didn’t think twice. There’s a world class manager and team. It’s a massive opportunity for me and my family. I’ve always wanted to play abroad, especially in LaLiga. I’m going to give it my all,” Trippier said.

The event was wrapped up as the Englishman was presented with his new number 23 shirt.
