The new kit of Atlético de Madrid for the 2015-16 season is here. It marks the 20th anniversary of the historic double win of the League and the Cup by our Club in the 1995-96 season. To pay a deserved tribute to this legendary team, the design recovers some details present in the kit worn by Simeone, Caminero, Vizcaíno, Kiko, Pantic and such when they won the two titles. The new red and white first kit is now on sale at official stores of Club Atlético de Madrid and in our online store. The official store of the Vicente Calderón Stadium has opened its doors this midnight to sell the first units. The first 96 lucky buyers of the new shirt received a gift.
The first kit presents the classic five red stripes on white and reproducing the aesthetics of the shirt of 20 years ago, each of the red stripes is accompanied by a thin red stripe on each side. The intense red colour worn on the shirt of the 'Double' is also recovered on the sleeves and shoulders.
The back of the shirt will be the great novelty of the 2015-16 jersey, because for the first time in the history of the Club, it is completely red. It also presents blue stripes that run along the sides until they meet the tonal blue stripes of Atlético de Madrid’s classic blue shorts.
The new shirt has a slight v-neck with a blue band on the back, in the inside of the neck there is a little Spanish flag with the printed dates of 20th anniversary: "1995-96" and "2015-16".
