Tough defeat against Sevilla
Atleti have a chance next Tuesday to turn the tie around and qualify for the semifinals of the Copa in the Sánchez Pizjuán.
Atlético suffered a defeat in the first leg of the Copa del Rey quarter-finals. Our side started off strongly and created chances in the first half, but Sevilla defended well. The Andalusian side had two chances as well, but Miguel Ángel Moyá made tremendous saves.
In the second half, we started off strongly and Diego Costa scored in the 73rd minute. However Sevilla turned the match around with Jesús Navas and Joaquin Correa’s goals.
