Atleti to face Eibar in Ipurua
Atlético de Madrid will face an in-form Eibar in Ipurua at 6:30 p.m. CET.
The Basque side are currently undefeated in seven matches, with six wins and one draw. Atleti are also on a good streak and are undefeated in 2018 (three wins).
After seeing a red card against Getafe, Diego Costa won't be able to play against Eibar. Fernando Torres, Kevin Gameiro and Angel Correa are the likely candidates to accompany Antoine Griezmann up front.
A win will put Atlético just six points from league leaders FC Barcelona, pending the Catalan club's result against Real Sociedad on Sunday.
Diego Pablo Simeone knows the importance of getting the three points, but he expects Eibar to put up a good fight.
"We’ve always won [in Ipurua], but have always suffered to do so. All the matches have been tough," he said. "Tomorrow’s match will be an important and difficult one and we’ll have to seize control of it."
