Fernando Torres wore Atlético’s kit again in the first leg of the King’s Cup round of 16 against Real Madrid. "We are happy for many things: for the work of the team, for the atmosphere that we have lived and are still living at the Calderon," he said.

The forward is aware that nothing is yet decided. "It was a great job. The second leg has to be outlined in a very similar way. The clean sheet gives us many options, but a 2-0 in the Bernabeu is far from a definite result," he confessed.

Regarding his return as an Atlético, the striker claimed to feel excited. "You always get butterflies in your stomach at times like these. I got them the other day in the presentation and I got had them today," he concluded smiling.
