'Together and united we will move forward'

Falcao and Diego sent a message of optimism to the fans in the first team visit to the Coca-Cola factory

Falcao and Diego were the players who attended the media on Mondays visit with the first team and directors of Club Atlético Madrid being shown around the Coca-Cola factory commemorating the 125 anniversary of the soft drinks brand.   Diego admitted that what Atletico Madrid lacks is 'the result. In football, the result is everything. We know we need to better prepare for the upcoming game and we can get the result.'   The Brazilian said that that in the squad 'we are concerned but confident. Missing the most important thing, goals. The confidence is there, we have the raw material and must have the peace of mind to get the three points.'   Finally, he’s confident in overcoming the situation that the squad finds itself in 'I am 26 years old and this is not the first time I’ve seen a similar situation, for me, it is still very complicated, but it's time to improve. It is a situation in which we are all together, we all have our responsibility, not only the coach but the players and we have to change together.'   Radamel Falcao made it clear that 'the team is united and made every effort for 90 minutes but found it difficult after going behind after 30 seconds with a penalty. The team recovered and could always win the game. Unfortunately we could not get the winning goal'.   The Colombian claims that he’s concerned about the poor run of results. 'It is worrisome because we have sufficient merit to win games and we have not been able to do so.”   He is convinced that the bad scoring streak will end soon. 'We know the goals will come. We cannot despair because otherwise we will not be ready for when that situation arises. We must stay calm and try to take advantage of opportunities,' he said.
