Tito Vilanova passes away
Tito Vilanova, the former coach of FC Barcelona, has passed away this Friday evening. The Atlético de Madrid Club offers their most sincere condolences to the family.
Atlético de Madrid, on behalf of its President, Enrique Cerezo, its CEO, Miguel Ángel Gil, the Board of Directors, and all the Atlético family, conveys their heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the family and friends of Tito Vilanova, Fútbol Club Barcelona’s former coach.
Enrique Cerezo, the Club’s President, recalled both the personal and professional value of Tito Vilanova. "It’s enormously sad that such a young man has left us. The world of football will remember him as he deserves. He substituted the coach with more titles in the history of Barcelona and maintained the competitive level, demonstrating his enormous talent as a coach".
Furthermore, the President wanted to deliver a message to his loved ones from all the Atlético family. "From Atlético de Madrid, we join the grief of his family and friends and express our support in these difficult moments".
