The Wanda Metropolitano is ready for its first match of 2018
Atleti will face Getafe at 1 p.m. CET.
A special match awaits in the Wanda Metropolitano. Not only is it the first match of the year in our stadium, but also Three Kings Day'. Families in the Wanda Metropolitano will be hoping for an Atleti win against Getafe as an early 'Reyes' present. Kick-off is set for 1 p.m. CET.
Atlético are coming off a 0-4 win against Lleida in the first leg of the Round of 16 Copa del Rey fixture. Both Diego Costa and Vitolo could make their league debuts for Atlético, after playing in the Copa match against Lleida.
Meanwhile, Getafe's last match was their 2-0 win against Las Palmas on 20 December. They're currently eighth in the table with 23 points.
Under Diego Pablo Simeone, Atleti have never lost to Getafe (eight wins and one draw), however our coach knows the match will be a difficult one.
