Atlético de Madrid outlined a very serious match which was decided by a one-off play in the final stretch. Messi scored after Oblak stopped a penalty from him. The Calderón will decide on Wednesday.

In the second half, Atlético de Madrid disconnected Barcelona, took a step forward to press higher up and get a closer look at Ter Stegen, which made things difficult to Luis Enrique’s men. Now, we only had to be able to link with the forwards to make some damage to Barcelona. But no clear chances for our players came by. Barcelona had their chance with a penalty kick from Messi in the final stretch of the game that Oblak saved, but the Argentinian scored the goal in the clearance. The Vicente Calderón will decide the pass to quarter-finals.
