José María Giménez has become a regular at Diego Pablo Simeone’s line-ups in recent weeks. After the match against Levante, the defender highlighted the role of the stands, "There was a spectacular atmosphere with a lot of kids who wanted Atleti to win. We did and gave them back the love they give to us on the field."
For his part, Diego Godín said that "the first half of the team was brilliant. We were very confortable. The team keeps growing and it’s been important to win this game."
