Ujfalusi: “The players are aware of our current form”
The Atlético de Madrid players want to forget about the loss to Barcelona as quickly as possible. They know that they’re going into a tough part of the schedule against the rivals of their particular ‘league’ and are aware that they need to start winning. Fran Mérida acknowledged that “we knew that getting a win was going to be difficult, but we tried. We didn’t have the ball in the first half and it’s very tough to beat Barcelona that way. Now we have to keep working and focus on the Valencia fixture.”
For his part, Ujfalusi also acknowledged the superiority of Barcelona and explained that “they’re the best team. We tried and even had two chances, but it wasn’t meant to be.
