The ‘rojiblancos’ train for 90 minutes in Majadahonda
Quique Sánchez Flores had the entire squad available
Atlético de Madrid continued to get ready for this Saturday’s fixture against Almería at the facilities in Majadahonda. Once again, Quique Sánchez Flores had the full squad available to him and they practiced for around 90 minutes without incident. Diego Forlán headed to the dressing room a little before the end of the session as a precaution due to some slight problems the striker has been feeling.
After beginning with physical work, the squad was divided into several groups to play ball possession games. After this, Quique Sánchez Flores handed out the pinnies and divided the team into two for a practice match. Once this game was over, with young star Borja standing out with three goals, Jordi García, the team physical trainer, retook the reins of the session and divided the squad into two groups. For this part, reserve team players Regalón and Noguera joined the senior footballers. While one group worked on their fitness with a series of sprints, the other group played a game on a small-sided pitch. Subsequently, the group switched places.
The ‘rojiblanco’ side will return to training on Thursday at 11 am at the Majadahonda Sports Complex.
